About MacTAV

Founded in 2024, the McMaster University branch of CanTAV started this program to help connect undergraduate students with local schools. As the founding chapter, this team played a key role in shaping the initiative's mission and structure, setting the foundation for its expansion of the program across Canadian universities.

Training

Online Mandatory Training! All volunteers must complete the mandatory online training before applying to the McMaster program. You will be asked to upload a screenshot showing proof of completion directly on the application form.

Please note: Your VSC MUST be obtained within 6 months before volunteer placement begins in October. There is NO exception.
